Club Competitions
As a club we have two main club competions. These are both carried out as handicap shoots, thereby giving every member, no matter how good they are, the chance to win. the first is an outdoor shoot, normally a round that all members can shoot together, for The Harry Chard cup.
Indoors we shoot for the Silver Plate. This is shot on a Portsmouth round, which is 5 dozen arrows at a distance of 20 yards.
Various of the club member shoot in tournaments throughout the year, both indoors and out. The crowning achievement of any of our members was Julian Nelson placing first in the Norfolk County Championships Gentlemens Compound, outdoors this year. A very well done to Julian for shooting so well in adverse weather conditions.
